Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi (JIE) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics. We adhere to ethical guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) to maintain credibility and trust in academic publishing.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism.

  • Any sources or ideas from other works must be properly cited.

  • Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence their research.

  • The submission must not have been previously published or under review in another journal.

  • Authors must participate in the peer-review process and make necessary revisions when required.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased review process.

  • Decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection should be based solely on academic merit.

  • Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.

  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed and appropriately managed.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive feedback.

  • Confidentiality must be maintained, and manuscripts should not be shared or discussed outside the review process.

  • Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and decline the review if necessary.

4. Publication Malpractice and Ethical Violations

  • Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and redundant publication are strictly prohibited.

  • If any ethical misconduct is detected, JIE reserves the right to retract or correct published articles.

  • The editorial board follows ethical procedures in handling complaints and disputes.
